VIDEO: New Drug-Eluting Stent Stumbles on Primary Endpoint Yet Maintains Momentum
In a large U.S. study of an investigational third-generation drug-eluting coronary-artery stent, called Endeavor, the device failed to meet its primary endpoint, an angiographic surrogate marker. But the investigators were not all frowns.
